The Westin Denver International Airport hotel and conference center opens to the public Thursday.

Westin Denver International Airport's 519 rooms (including 35 suites) were designed by Gensler and occupy only the top 8 floors of the 14-story, 37,000 square foot building. Guest rooms feature glass curtain walls (each room is the width of one window), and the suites (all of which are on the slanted part of the hotel) feature a column. In some suites, the column is in the bathroom and the main room.

The hotel also has a WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio, an indoor swimming pool, and multiple dining options including SuperFoodsRx.

Guests can take a train straight from the hotel to 16th Street Mall in Downtown Denver. Commuter rail service is set to begin in Spring 2016.

On the second level of the hotel is the conference center, which includes 12 conference rooms, 2 junior ballrooms, and a grand ballroom, which can fit 800 people standing or about 300 in banquet seating.
