A Monday (April 2, 2016) morning crash on Weld County Road 49 sent two men to North Colorado Medical Center with serious injuries. According to the Greeley Tribune, the accident occurred six miles southeast of Greeley at approximately 6:20 a.m. when two cars hit head on. James Huber, 31, of Colorado Springs, lost control of his 1985 Ford truck when he drove through standing water. His vehicle spun out, crossing into oncoming traffic, hitting a 1986 Dodge Ram. Huber was taken to the hospital, along with 37-year-old Robert Pittington of Eaton. Both men were wearing seatbelts, and though multiple people were reported trapped in the vehicles, no others were reported to have been taken to the Hospital.
