Weekly Fort Collins Events

The summer events are winding down, but there is still plenty of time to get out and enjoy what Fort Collins has to offer in free family entertainment. These are the ongoing events that happen on a weekly or monthly basis.

Streemosphere - Downtown: May 11 – September 2, 2012

Downtown Fort Collins will enjoy 16 weekends of Streetmosphere performances between Mother’s Day weekend and Labor Day weekend. Downtown will again have 5 simultaneous performance locations on Fridays from 4:30pm – 8:30pm, Saturdays 12:30pm -8:30pm, and Sundays 12:30-4:30pm. Performers will include your favorite acts from prior years and plenty of new local artists.

 

The French Nest Open Air Market

When:  Saturdays July 21st, Aug. 18th, Sept. 15th, and Oct. 20th, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Where:  Civic Center Park, Fort Collins (southeast corner of LaPorte Ave. & Howes St.)

What:  Interested in a unique shopping experience?  Come out for this artisan, vintage, antique, and collectibles outdoor market the third Saturday of every month through October.  Enjoy coffee, food, face-painting, and live music as well!

Downtown Farmer’s Market

When:  Every Saturday through October 27th, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Where:  Larimer County Courthouse Parking Lot (North side of Oak Street between Mason & Howes)

What:  Larimer County’s Farmer’s market brings a variety of fruits, vegetables, meat, bread, honey, plants, herbs, and pastries to the public.  Come check out this assortment of quality goods!

First Friday Featuring Gallery Walk

When:  August 3nd, and the first Friday of every month, 6-9:00 p.m.

Where:  Various galleries in Old Town Fort Collins

What:  Take a walk through Old Town to experience the beautiful art forms at multiple venues.  From paintings, to sculptures, to theater and music, Fort Collins has plenty to offer those interested in any type of art.

Ben & Jerry's FAC Concert Series

When:  Every Friday through August 17th (excluding August 10th), 7-9:00 p.m.

Where:  Old Town Square, Fort Collins (Mountain Avenue and Walnut Street)

What:  Live music featuring local artists!  Bring a chair and enjoy free entertainment brought to you by Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Shoppe every Friday night.
