Have you ever known anyone who thought they were getting married, only to be left by their spouse-to-be shortly before the wedding?

The heartbreak of the situation is the worst part. There are also major financial implications. While the average couple spends almost $30,000 on their wedding, the losses from a wedding that was canceled at the last moment can cost over $8,000.

That was the impetus for the business that two Colorado women are attempting to launch. Just Jilted is in the fundraising phase, and has a page on Kickstarter.com. Their goal? To help those with last minute cancellations recoup some of the financial loss that happens  when things don't make it to 'happily ever after'.
