The strength of the economy is always a hot button topic during election season, and a new report shows the direction of employment in the state of Colorado. So if someone asked you how the job market was in Colorado, how would you answer? Well, in September (2015), unemployment dropped from 4.5% to an even 4.0%, with the addition of 2,000 new jobs according to the Reporter Herald. There was a decline of 2,000 government jobs in September, however, the Colorado job market was saved with 4,000 new private sector jobs being added.

In the last year, Colorado has scene an increase of 41,000 new jobs, 33,000 of those being provided by the private sector. Most of these jobs have come in the fields of education, health services, leisure, hospitality and construction.
