So I had the chance to see Taylor Swift live at the Pepsi Center in Denver Saturday night, and admittedly all I was expecting was to get my eardrums blown out by the screaming of all the teenagers that packed the venue.

The last time I saw Taylor Swift perform, back in 2008, she was still a relative "unknown" at that time. And she still had a lot to work to do on her stage presence and all around performance.

Fast forward to 2015...with almost 10 years under her belt as an artist that people of all ages can wrap their arms around. And who do we have as an artist now? We have someone who I think is the BEST performer out there today...and keeps getting better as time goes by.

First, when you got to your seat in the Pepsi Center last night, each seat had a bracelet attached to it. You probably walked up to it and wondered..."what is this here for"? Taylor wanted to connect her fans to the show in the best possible way she could, and so she could also get the energy from all the fans in the venue. Each bracelet was synchronized with the music so at certain points everyone's bracelet would light up in a red, white, or blue color. To see the visual of that in the venue (which you can see in blue in the picture above) is indescribable unless you were there. It was also Taylor's way of giving back to the people who attend her show. A great gesture from someone who is always thinking about her fans first.

When it comes to the show...here's how I would grade it...

Entertainment Value? A+...From the large video screen behind the stage...to the stage itself...to the walkaway that telescoped in the air. This show had it all from an entertainment standpoint.

Performance? A+...WOW. That's all I can say. You had people (girls AND guys) of all ages standing and dancing to her music. I think I even caught myself a few times getting into it. Her vocals have definitely grown on stage over the years and her maturity shows in what she does.

One hour into her set...she also took five minutes to talk to everyone about goals and how to never let anyone stop you from reaching your goals. Can I give her an A++ on the standpoint of being a role model?

This leads to the question...Was Taylor Swift the BEST concert in 2015 in Colorado?

I know many people will say Garth Brooks was the best. Believe me, I can go either way on this and there isn't a right or wrong answer with it.

But other than those two artists...I don't think any else came close to what I saw at the Pepsi Center last night and what I saw with Garth Brooks in March.

It's a tough call between the two.

But if someone asked me to spend my money on either a Taylor or Garth show in six months, I have my answer on who I would choose.

Put me on the side of "Team Tay-Tay"...and I'll have my glowing bracelet ready to go to dance with the music.
