USA Today conducts polls every week where they look for the nation's best.

Best what? Best everything! They've had all kinds of polls, but this one matters to us.

They are asking which town is the best cycling town in America, and Fort Collins is on the list!

Fort Collins was named to the Platinum Bicycle Friendly Community status by the League of American Bicyclists. This came thanks to its 133 miles of off-street bike trails and 280 miles of bike lanes. Only three other U.S. cities gained that status last year: Boulder; Davis, Calif. (who, upon publishing this article, was leading the vote tally in this poll); and Portland, Ore.

Seriously, we are home to the original TOUR DE FAT, which is one of the world's largest bicycle parade. We have to be #1!

Others on the list: Durango; Ann Arbor, Mich.; Asheville, N.C.; Austin, Texas; Bend, Ore.; Chattanooga, Tenn.; Gainesville, Fla.; Greenville, S.C.; Madison, Wis.; Sacramento and Malibu, Calif.; Minneapolis; Moab and Park City, Utah; Seattle; and Tucson, Ariz.

Vote as many times as you can, and encourage others to do the same. Let's win this distinction, because we deserve it!
