Visit a Few of Denver’s Best Museums for Free
There are those familiar moments in your life where you look back on some experiences, perhaps field trips, and you say to yourself, "Wow, I wish would have appreciated that when I was a kid."
Museums are cool. And we have a lot of them in Colorado to explore.
Some Denver Museums are offering free days this summer where you can take the kids, escape the heat, and learn something while having fun.
Denver Museum of Nature & Science
According to USA Today, this museum is the 10th most-visited museum in the country, with 1.7 million visitors in 2015.
Free Days: August 29th and September 11th
Children's Museum of Denver
The Children's Museum of Denver opened a $16.1 million expansion last fall that included a 30,000-square-foot outdoor play area. Free overall museum visits are from 4-8p the first Tuesday of each month.

Paintings, sculptures, and other cultural artifacts are all on display at the Denver Art Museum. Through Spring of 2020, kids 18 and younger get free general daily admission. General admission does not include specially ticketed exhibitions. Overall free days: August 6th and September 3rd.
