Online dating does have its pitfalls, for sure. Nearly getting killed, would have to rank up there with ‘He said he was a doctor’ when it comes to reasons to not post a profile.

Update from the Loveland Police Department:

July 7 Update:

Ms. Rosenbach turned herself in to the Loveland Police Department for the warrant at approximately 10:00am this morning. She has been processed and transported to the Larimer County Jail. See attached Loveland PD booking photo.

This case is still under investigation. The case will soon be presented to the Larimer County District Attorney. Anyone who has information regarding this incident is still encouraged to contact Det. Patrick Musselman at 970-962-2274.

So, there's not much more information about what happened. Actually, there's NO new information about what happened. All we get is an 'interesting' photo of the suspect.

We'll just have to wait to see if we can get  Rosenbach's side of the story at some point.

It was the 4th of July weekend. America was celebrating its independence; meanwhile, a man in Loveland was at the hospital after ‘fireworks’ of some sort with a woman he met online.

The Reporter-Herald has the story of how a 64-year-old gentleman in Loveland called police to report he’d been attacked by a woman he met online.  This woman, Jenessa Rosenbach allegedly put a gash in the man's throat, leading to attempted murder charges being filed.

This woman, who lives in Evans, is 20-years-old.  Does her age matter to the story? Some would say ‘Yes’, others ‘No.’ But, it does make the story stand out.  The police report says that the man claimed to have met the woman on an online site. It does not say ‘dating’ site. So who knows, exactly?

Westword has an interesting take on the suspect HERE.

Police are searching for Rosenbach, if you have information- contact 962-2274.

You have to be careful when it comes to meeting anyone online.
