Northern Colorado has so much to offer when it comes to dating, and it doesn't always have to come with a hefty price tag. Here's a list of totally free thing you can do whether you're on a first day or your 50th anniversary.

- Go to a farmers market in Greeley, Windsor, Loveland or Fort Collins

- Get lost on purpose. With the expansive mountains to our west, get a full tank of gas, pack a picnic and just drive and see what you find.

- Take free class at the local library. Learn how to best use a computer program, how to navigate social media or even how to edit a video. It can be a joint educational experience.

- Take a bike tour of Old Town. While you're riding around, make it a point to only stop at shops you have never been to before. If you don't have a bike and are ok with spending a little money, check out the Fort Collins Bike Library.

- Go feed and name the ducks... see if you can remember them every time you go back.

- Take advantage of free nights at the local Museum and have a photo scavenger hunt. The Fort Collins Museum of Art just announced their Free First Fridays.

- Volunteer at either the Larimer or Weld County Humane Society.

- Find a crowded area and play "people watching" bingo. Google has all kings of bingo cards you can use.

- Get dressed up and take a open house tours in neighborhoods you can't afford. I suggest some made up names as well... who doesn't like a little roll-playing.

- Go ghost hunting in many of the "haunted" old towns, buildings and creepy places in Colorado.

- Go around town and "Google Eye Bomb." This is the act of going around town and putting google eyes on objects and taking a picture. They are cute and funny, however this might be a form a vandalism, so you may want to be carful.
