A tornado touched down in Northern Colorado yesterday evening. The National Weather Service said a weak tornado touched down briefly near Fort Lupton around 6:45 p.m. Several other funnel clouds were spotted around Weld County.

According to 7News in Denver, The Tornado Warning was issued for southern Weld County but expired around 7:15 p.m. No damage or injuries were reported.

The same storm brought up to 8 inches of hail in Colorado Springs. State transportation crews used eight plows to clear hail on a stretch of Interstate 25 through the city Thursday afternoon.
