There is plenty happening in Northern Colorado this weekend.

And with a beautiful forecast, there is no reason not to get out and enjoy it! Here are some of the things we are looking forward to.

Public Lands Day

Fees for many National Parks are waived to honor volunteers who keep our parks and public lands beautiful on Saturday.

It's one of the few days that you can enter Rocky Mountain National Park for free and the leaves are changing!

Greeley's Oktobrewfest

It's going on Saturday and Sunday. The thing I love about this event is that it is for beer drinkers and non beer drinkers a like. I fall into the latter category, and have had a great time at this event many times in the past. It's family friendly, super fun, and this will be a great weekend for it.

The Oktobrewfest is happening at Lincoln Park in downtown Greeley on September 26 from 5-10 p.m. and September 27 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be great beer, food, crafts/games, tons of vendors and a free concert!

Hope Live Pink Par-Tee Golf Tournament

It's a women's tournament. Except me. I'm a celebrity golfer for this great event, and am really looking forward to help Hope Lives again. What an amazing organization! They are Northern Colorado's only post-diagnosis support center. The affect they have is no less than miraculous, which you can experience at this golf tournament, or later in the year at the Hope Lives Gala on Oct. 25.

Plus, I'm the celebrity golfer, so you'll have a chance to take a few swings with me!

Equinox Sculpture Unveiling

At highway 34 and I 25, there is a lot of traffic. Understatement, right? Yeah, but not compared to the future. With the incredible growth of Northern Colorado, the traffic is only going to increase. The new sculpture, entitled 'Equinox' will enhance the look and feel for all the people who drive by it.

Dedication of the sculpture will take place Saturday, Sept. 27, from 3-5 p.m. on a site just northeast of the I-25/U.S. 34 junction in the parking lot behind Jared’s jewelers in the Promenade Shops.

Due to limited parking, please use parking lot south of Barnes and Noble Booksellers.
