Today is National Stay Out of the Sun Day so that had me looking for some sunscreen tips and it made me think of the "Everybody's Free (to Wear Sunscreen") song that was popular for the graduating classes back in 1999. Do you remember that song?

It's confusing when you go shopping for sunscreen, so I found some answers on sunscreen. From SPF's to UVB, it can get confusing.

what sunscreens should I use?

The American Academy of Dermatology recommends everyone use sunscreen that offers the following:

  • Broad-spectrum protection (protects against UVA and UVB rays)
  • Sun Protection Factor (SPF) 30 or greater
  • Water resistance

So find some shade, and put on some sunscreen and enjoy Stay Out of the Sun Day. :)

Oh, and I found the video for the song "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen.)"
