Ladies, be aware of your surroundings when you are out shopping. There are some thieves in Loveland targeting parking lots.

As the Coloradoan reported, there have been three women that have reported purses being stolen in parking lots from their shopping carts as they were loading their groceries into their car at the Walmart in Loveland off of Denver Avenue.

These incidents happened Oct. 1, Oct. 8 and Oct. 14. Investigators think the suspect(s) targeted people that were distracted as they loaded items from the cart to the car.

The suspect or suspects did end up using the stolen credit cards at businesses across Northern Colorado before the victims could contact card companies.

There are no suspects at this time and police are asking anyone with information to call Detective Eric Lintz at (970) 962-2032.
