The Heaven Fest music festival is (was) one of the largest gatherings of Christians in the Rocky Mountain area. It has been in Loveland for the past two years, but organizers have announced that 2013 will be a "a year of rest" for the festival and when it returns in 2014 it will be moving out of Loveland and relocating to Denver.

According to the Loveland Reporter-Herald, last year's Heaven Fest drew around 30,000 people to The Ranch in Loveland. Anyone that did not go to the Christian music festival still probably saw the traffic congestion around the area.

If you were looking forward to the festival, this news probably bums you out. And even if you don't care about the festival itself, the loss of the financial bonus it would have brought to the area probably bums you out too.

What are your thoughts on the cancellation of this year's festival, or the fact that it is leaving Northern Colorado? Post your thoughts in the comments below.
