The event, lasting from 6-11 p.m., benefits Northern Colorado UniFY.  The event helps out the Northern Colorado United For Youth children’s foundation, an organization with the sole purpose of making positive changes in Northern Colorado's youth.

The premise of the Suitcase Party is simple: show up with a packed suitcase and by the end of the night, one lucky couple has the chance to fly off to an undisclosed location in a private jet for the weekend.

The event features a live band playing '80s music: the Spazmatics.  Also featured is food, drink, a live auction (which has once in the past featured puppies) and a theme: aviation.  However, attendees are encouraged to wear "rocking 80s clothes" as well, and to indulge their inner geek!

Overall, it's a fun event, and it begs the question-- if you could fly off to an unknown location at a moment's notice, where would you go?
