I know Rebecca Pittman because, when we first met, she offered me great support.

We came together via friends, and then Facebook, so when she was promoting one of her books, I was familiar enough with her to ask for an interview.

She is a great artist, and an even better connector. This I learned from experience as she did her best to help me get started marketing my book. It was my first and she was so generous with her time, advice and contacts.

So, when it came time to do a book giveaway for the holidays, I thought of her.

And it wasn't just because she was so nice to me. The History and Haunting of the Stanley Hotel is selling like hotcakes. That is due in part to the fame of the hotel, and to the fact that it has been in the news a lot lately.

This is the second edition of her book. I'm excited about the fact that this version has real stories from staffers at the hotel, and that hauntings they've experienced. With any good haunting, the real stories come from the staffers that are there in the middle of the night, alone, and creeped out.

Great stuff.

Enjoy the interview and be with me through Christmas (2015) for your chance to win a copy of her book!

Also, being given away are copies of my book, Stranded in a Snowstorm, and Carrie Visintainer's Wild Mama.
