Windsor. September of 2015. We’d been collecting Teddy Bears for our Teddy Bear Patrol.  One of these soft, friendly, innocent bears just rubbed me the wrong way. I just knew this guy was going to turn out being a ‘Bad News’ bear, if you get my drift.  My suspicions were verified, when my turkey sandwich went missing.

Luckily, we’d been renovating one of our studios and it turned out to be the perfect ‘holding cell’ for Fuzzy Donahue.  I had just one question for the bear:  Did he eat my sandwich?

The permanent smile on his face-- I think that’s what tipped me off that this cat was going to be one troublesome bear.

You see, the radio station was full of teddy bears. Hundreds and hundreds of adorable ‘Do-Gooders.’ These bears were going out to be a part of the Teddy Bear Patrol. 98% of them were straight-up, great Patrol Recruits; but with any recruitment effort, you’re going to rake in at least one troublemaker.

My turkey sandwich. My daily break in the day. It had gone missing. I didn’t waste any time. I had O’Leary over in booking do some checking on this ‘Fuzzy.’  Yeah, just as I suspected, Fuzzy, was a little shady. I had Connell put that bear in the ‘holding cell’ for me. I had a few questions for ‘Mr. Fuzzy Donahue’...
