Dogs are loyal, fun companions. We know they won't live as long as us and we choose to love them anyways, knowing we will have to let them go eventually. So how fast does a dog really age? Turns out our 11 year-old dog is about 65.

WebMD explains "dogs mature more quickly than children in the first couple of years. So the first year of a dog’s life is equal to about 15 human years, rather than seven." For a complete calculator of your dog's age by size, check this chart.
