Take Advantage of Free Entry to Rocky Mountain National Park this Weekend

Spring has sprung– bringing fresh flora and warmer weather to Northern Colorado! Rocky Mountain National Park is offering free entry to visitors this weekend, so take advantage, get outdoors and enjoy the sunshine!

The entrance fee will not only be waived at Rocky Mountain National Park April 18 and 19, but also at other National Park Service parks and monuments around the area. This includes Black Canyon of the Gunnison and Mesa Verde National Parks, the Great Sand Dunes, and Curecanti National Recreation Area, as well as the Colorado National Monument, the Dinosaur National Monument, the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, and the Hovenweep and Yucca House National Monuments. It is usually $20 per vehicle for entry to Rocky Mountain National Park, which is good for seven consecutive days.

If hiking isn't your thing, there are still plenty of activities to enjoy in the parks, including scenic drives, fishing, and the chance to see all kinds of wildlife. It is fun to get out and explore the many scenic and unique parks around Colorado, with each one offering a different and memorable experience!
