If you are new to Colorado, you should know that it is normal to experience hot temperatures that are followed by the possibility of some snow. It looks like this week will not be an exception, as the crazy weather patterns continue!
The Cuchara Valley Ski area closed and reopened several times throughout it's history, but closed down for good back in 2000. There have been many tries to get the area sold to a local investor, but as of now it still sits empty.
