The Cuchara Valley Ski area closed and reopened several times throughout it's history, but closed down for good back in 2000. There have been many tries to get the area sold to a local investor, but as of now it still sits empty.
We definitely need the moisture throughout Northern Colorado and it doesn't matter if it comes in the form of rain or snow. But what's always tough with spring storms is you don't know what's going to happen til the day of!
You'd think these snow removal laws should be a no-brainer, but the Colorado Department of Transportation is reminding residents that they exist (because some people have ruined the crazy morning commute for us by breaking them).
