We stayed in Park City on this trip. On the next one, there is a chance that I'd stay in Salt Lake, because the resorts in Little Cottonwood Canyon are just amazing. Park City put me close to Canyons, which is on my epic pass, but I think I'd rather be close to Snowbird, and drive further to the Canyons. Oh, such tough decisions.

From Eagle County to the lower lying Colorado/Utah high desert, it's an easy drive.
The highway is wide, fast and there aren't many people on it. You're pretty far from any major metro area, and it feels that way. We stopped in Glenwood Springs for wings, and I kind of wished we were staying there.

It's still great advice, especially for those looking for fun. For our guys trip this year (a few guys from PA visit us in CO every year), we decided instead of the ski in/ski out-stay in one place idea, we'd road trip it, and enjoy cold and warm weather sports.
