Fort Collins-Based New Belgium Brewing Company is Now Completely Employee-Owned
January 15, 2013 I've taken more than a few tours of the New Belgium Brewery; and on every tour, the guides mention with pride that employees become partial company owners after a year of work with the company. I always thought that was a great way to run a business. If I owned shares in the company I worked for, I would do everything I could to be the best employee (and owner) I could be! Anyway, company management has just announced that employees now own 100% of New Belgium Brewing!

It looks like New Belgium Brewing Company has made a decision on expanding outside of Fort Collins. Apparently New Belgium has it's eyes on Asheville, N.C. for a new facility.

A Fort Collins tradition has made another top 10 list. New Belgium Brewing's "Tour de Fat" made OutsideOnline.com's Top 10 Best North American Beer Festivals list. The annual series of bikes on parade brings 20,000 cyclists to Fort Collins where the beer flows and the costumes are encouraged.
