Weekend Box Office Report: ‘Oblivion’ Obliterates the Competition
Tom Cruise and science fiction are a powerful combination. Although the opening weekend of 'Oblivion' didn't break any records big or small, it's a more than solid start for a non-franchise, non-sequel, non-reboot. That's a sad statement on the current state of Hollywood, but that's another topic for another day.

‘Oblivion’ Review
'Oblivion' is best described as opportunity, squandered. Its landscape – conceptual and physical – feels remarkably unique and bursting with possibilities, but the exploration of both lacks originality, and energy. Joe Kosinski’s follow-up to 'TRON: Legacy' is, like its predecessor, a gorgeously mounted, inventive world-building endeavor, but it’s also equally bloodless -- ponderous without being

Harrison Ford Has a Spat With Chewbacca on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ [VIDEO]
Harrison Ford appeared on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' last night (April 17) to talk about his new movie '42' -- but the host was having none of that. Instead, Kimmel wanted to know about the continuation of the 'Star Wars' franchise in which it's rumored Ford will appear. While Harrison couldn't contractually talk about that, he did agree to take audience questions with the caveat that they not be about

Superman: Man of Steel- See What the ‘S’ Really Stands For
I saw a third trailer for 'Man of Steel' today- the newest incarnation of the DC Comics hero "Superman". I loved it. The movie comes out in June, and if I'm not in line on opening night- it'll be because of kidney stones or something! This is going to be great! What I discovered in this new trailer, is that the 'S' on his shirt- does NOT stand for 'Superman' or 'Super'....What it stands

One of summer 2013's biggest question marks is 'Man of Steel.' There's a lot riding on this picture for Warner Brothers (who wants to be competitive in the Superhero genre), and for Zack Snyder (who's coming off of a misfire and an out-and-out flop). We're hoping for the best, and we're cautiously optimistic after seeing the film's first TV spot.

10 Things You Didn’t Know About Roger Ebert
Roger Ebert passed away this week. He was an amazing man who not only provided people with his opinions on movies, he planted the notion that movies could be more than just observed in the minds of countless people. And he was entertaining. (Proof: This review of 'Deuce Bigelow: European Gigolo.') He also led a fascinating life, so we put together some trivia to give you an idea of the greatness t

You’d Have to Get a Third Job to Afford Eating From Gwyneth Paltrow’s Cookbook
If you haven't already heard, Gwyneth Paltrow has a new no meat, no dairy, no sugar, no wheat cookbook out called 'It's All Good.' Spoilers: It's not. Not only does said book reduce you to eating the grass clippings from your lawnmower, but to cook from it for a day would set you back $300. No, that's not an error, and no, you didn't just get dizzy because you've reduced yourself to a vegan, soy-f
