The Larimer County Department of Health has recorded 103 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic, 23 of which occurred within the first ten days of December.
As of Wednesday (Dec. 16), there have been 98 recorded deaths in Larimer County since March.
According to Larimer County Public Health director Tom Gonzales, 39% of the 98 deaths were recorded in November and December.
The Larimer County Department of Health added 64 new COVID-19 cases to its cumulative total on Monday (Dec. 14), bringing the county's new total of COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic to 12,948.
Larimer County recorded two new COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday (Dec. 8), bringing the county's cumulative total of deaths to 81 since the start of the pandemic.
Landfill rates are expected to rise in 2021 ahead of some new projects coming from Larimer County including a new landfill location coming in the next couple years.
As COVID-19 cases continue to rise across Colorado, county officials are taking action by enforcing heightened restrictions in their respective counties; In Larimer County, Level Red restrictions begin today (Nov. 24).
