President Obama Visits Denver For Gun Control Rally – Local Sheriffs Stage Counter-Protest [Video]

President Obama was in Denver yesterday to show his support for the gun control measures recently passed in Colorado. Meanwhile, 16 county sheriffs, including Larimer County’s Justin Smith and John Cooke of Weld County have vowed not to enforce the new gun restrictions. Larimer County Sheriff’s Office Reminds Drivers to be Safe this Memorial Day Weekend

You know the rule, don't drink and drive, and always buckle up, pretty simple. The Larimer County Sheriff's Office will be conducting DUI patrols this Memorial Day weekend. The Sheriff has assigned extra deputies to patrol specifically looking for persons driving under the influence.

Larimer County Sheriff Building Evacuated Friday Morning – Normal Operations Resumed Shortly After

Updated 9:15 am Normal operations have resumed at the Larimer County Sheriff's Office after the administration building was evacuated earlier because of a gas line break.

Poudre Fire Authority authorized reentry into the building at approximately 8:45 a.m.
