Fort Collins Mason Street Closed for 3 Weeks

Mason construction to last three weeks
Beginning today, Mason Street from Laurel to Cherry streets in Fort Collins will be closed to traffic for three weeks to accommodate a pair of projects. A mile of Railway tracks will be replaced and Mason street will be converted to two-way traffic to make way for the Mason Corridor and the MAX bus rapid transit system.

Reports say that Manning has purchased a 16,000 square-foot house in the same neighborhood that John Elway is currently living in. He closed the deal on Monday. This house blows away the highest priced local Fort Collins homes on the market that we found earlier this week!

The new Manning home is reported to have an elevator, nine bathrooms, seven bedrooms, and a secure gated entrance, among other amenities, according to KDVR. We found pictures of the Cherry Hills Village house that is worth a reported $4.5 million.

Austin Weishel, a twenty-two year old Volunteer Firefighter from Windsor-Severance Fire Rescue was in our Nation's Capital recently as he introduced a statue he built in his family's Colorado basement. The 17-foot high and 450 pound bronze sculpture of a firefighter and arson dog traveled 2,000 miles to be placed in Washington, DC where it will remain to honor firefighters and their canine companions.
