With her exit at 'CBS Evening News' imminent, it looks like Katie Couric may be eyeing a position at rival network ABC.
Sources tell TMZ that Couric is considering a $20 million dollar deal with the network, with plans to launch a syndicated talk show in Sept. 2012. In addition to a talk show, Couric would reportedly do specials for ABC News, '20/20' and "a significant amount of fill-in work, including anchoring." (Somewhere, Diane Sawyer is freaking out.)

It's official: Katie Couric is leaving 'CBS Evening News.'
The veteran news anchor confirmed the news Tuesday in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, saying, "I have decided to step down from the 'CBS Evening News.' I'm really proud of the talented team on the CBS Evening News and the award-winning work we've been able to do in the past five years in addition to the reporting I've done for 60 Minutes and CBS Sunday Morning. In making the decision to move on, I know the Evening News will be in great hands, but I am excited about the future."
Report: Katie Couric to Announce Departure From ‘CBS Evening News’ This Week
In what the NY Times is calling "one of the worst-kept secrets in television," Katie Couric will reportedly announce her exit from 'CBS Evening News' this week, sources confirmed today.
A replacement for Couric will be announced during the first week in May, after she returns from London, where she will be covering the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Though unconfirmed, '60 Minutes' correspondent Scott Pelley is expected to replace Couric following her exit from the program.
Katie Couric to Reunite With Matt Lauer?
Following word that Katie Couric is planning to leave her post at 'CBS Evening News' in the near future, the NY Times is now reporting that the 54-year-old anchor may pursue a syndicated talk show with her former 'Today' co-host, Matt Lauer.
But don't get too excited: According to the report, the move would be "intensely complicated," as Lauer's contract with 'Today' doesn't expire until the end of 2012, and NBC will probably make him a significant offer to keep him on the show.

She's used to breaking headlines, but today, Katie Couric is making some of her own.
According to a report from the AP, Couric is leaving her historic anchor post at 'CBS Evening News' after joining the program less than five years ago, in 2006. Her next move: a syndicated talk show, which is expected to launch in 2012.
Couric's contract with CBS ends on June 4, though no word on when her official last broadcast will be.
