After our last group workout in the Dare to Lose program, we had two participants down with injury. They couldn't complete the workout. I could see that they were distraught over it.
This video is of some of our Dare to Lose competitors talking about why they signed up for the program and what they want to get out of it. Why am I sharing it with you? To show you that everyone has different needs, wants and motivations for getting healthy.
After my first week of Dare to Lose, I felt results.
Five days of just showing up and doing what I'm told, and I already feel better. It's amazing, because that is a blip of time.
I feel so lucky to be a part of the Dare to Lose program.
I call it a 'program' not a competition, even though their will be prizes awarded, all participants will learn, and therefore win.

With the start of a new year, comes a new commitment to better health, and another session of Dare to Lose - a program to help get our DJs and their listeners in better shape.
I think I've added years, maybe even decades to my life thanks to what Miramont Lifestyle Fitness helped me do. This is just one of the many reasons I'm indebted to some of the people there and why I'm so proud to be a part of another Dare to Lose Challenge to help other people turn their lives around too.
As soon as I was told I would be able to join the Dare to Lose competition that we are doing with Miramont Lifestyle Fitness and a handful of our listeners, I knew my involvement might slightly confuse people.
I am simply not overweight.
But, that doesn't mean I don't have issues!
