CSU Faculty and Staff Getting Raises, Tuition Going Up 9 Percent [POLL]

Colorado State University's Board of Governors approved the 2012-2013 budget that includes a salary increase for faculty and staff, the first pay increase in four years. The budget that was approved also includes an increase of tuition for next year. Tuition will go up 9-percent for undergraduates.

CSU Student Group Plans ‘Walk a Mile in Her Shoes’ Relay to Help Women Gain Self-Esteem

Design and Merchandising students at CSU are teaming up to present a fundraiser relay walk for charity on April 15th. "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" will be held at the Colorado State University Oval and registration begins at 8:30 a.m. on the 15th.

The event will benefit Able Women's Career Closet, a charity that helps women gain self esteem for job interviews and helps them with appropriate clothing for job interviews.

In what was most likely the most important game of the year for the Colorado State mens basketball team, the Rams found themselves down 16 points early in the final half to nationally ranked UNLV. CSU Begins Process to Hire Design Team for Proposed New Football Stadium

CSU has started the process of hiring architects and engineers to begin the process for building a new on-campus football stadium. Advertisements indicate Colorado State University plans to hire for a "potential" project and goes on to say it's for plans to build a 40,000 to 50,000-seat stadium in Fort Collins.

New Initiative Could Bring Super-Fast High-Speed Internet to CSU, Fort Collins

Fort Collins and CSU could soon be on the super-fast information highway. A new national initiative called Gig. U is working to bring super high-speed internet to communities with the goal of increasing economic development and keeping the U.S. competitive in a global economy. Colorado State University is one of 37 universities that could be getting a super-fast network, sponsored by the Aspen Institute.
