It's been hot all around the state of Colorado the last few days, with temperatures close to 100 degrees in many areas. You may be thinking that we won't seen any more snowfall until at least October. You could be very wrong!
The Cuchara Valley Ski area closed and reopened several times throughout it's history, but closed down for good back in 2000. There have been many tries to get the area sold to a local investor, but as of now it still sits empty.
It's been a tale of two different weather stories as we wrapped up 2016, with abnormally warm weather in the fall leading to below average temps for most of December. But what does 2017 have in store for us?
While it won't be like the Christmas Day into Friday storm that we had that dumped between 4-8 inches in the Fort Collins-Loveland-Greeley area, it looks like we are in a snowy and FRIGID pattern here in Northern Colorado...
