In honor of Thanksgiving Day, all City offices and facilities will be closed Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014, including the Gardens on Spring Creek, all recreation facilities, all libraries, the Museum of Discovery and Transfort bus services.
The City of Fort Collins will continue spraying for mosquitoes. Last night the City Council approved several changes to the city’s West Nile Virus Management Plan, including setting the criteria for spraying.
Fort Collins Utilities will be replacing the 1930's 4-inch cast iron waterline in College Avenue from Buckeye Street (one block south of Pitkin Street) to Mulberry Street with 8-inch PVC pipe. Beginning Tuesday, May 27, construction will begin at Mulberry Street, working south.
After 16 years and 87 million dollars Fort Collins MAX Rapid Transit bus service is finally fully operational. The 1st bus left the South Transit Center at 11 a.m. on Saturday. It is an amazing achievement considering what it took to make this project happen.
