Some good and bad news for Adele fans. We’ll start with the bad news: The soulful siren has cancelled all of her remaining 2011 performances to undergo throat surgery.
Nominations for the American Music Awards were announced today, and British singer Adele leads the pack with four nominations, including Artist of the Year and Favorite Female Artist.
Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne and country group The Band Perry were right behind Adele with three nods apiece. Perry will perform on the show, as will Pitbull.
