Denver News Anchor, Kyle Dyer, Talks for the First Time Since Dog Bite [VIDEO]

What was supposed to be a feel good story quickly turned to tragedy when a news anchor at 9News (KUSA) in Denver was bitten in the face on air by an 85-pound Argentine Mastiff. Kyle Dyer was interviewing the dog, it's owner, and a firefighter who rescued the dog from a frozen pond the day before. After two weeks, two surgeries, and 90 stitches total, Dyer spoke for the first time.

9NEWS Anchor Released From Hospital After Dog Bite, Dog Owner Issues Statement

9NEWS anchor, Kyle Dyer who was bit by a dog on live TV during an interview on Wednesday morning was released from the hospital Thursday afternoon. Dyer underwent reconstructive surgery Wednesday. Though Kyle can not speak at this time due to the dog bite on her lip, she has been writing notes on an iPad letting everyone know she is OK according to 9NEWS.com.
