The man who caused the manhunt across Fort Collins Friday night into Saturday was arrested without incident on Saturday afternoon.

As the Coloradoan reported, Jose Ornelas-Licano, 40, fled after shots were fired at local law enforcement Friday night after a warrant attempt, causing homes around the area including Colorado State University residents to be urged to stay inside behind locked doors.

The suspect was was arrested about 2 p.m. Saturday after a resident called into police that a man matching suspect's description had entered the Family Dollar store on the corner of Prospect Road and Shields Street. He was arrested without incident.

Law enforcement the warrant arrest on Friday night about 7 p.m. The Fort Collins man had outstanding warrants for failing to appear on separate drug and fraud cases out of Estes Park and Larimer County.
