After 111 years, the former Great Western Sugar factory in Eaton was imploded over the weekend. It only took twenty-five seconds for the factory off U.S. 85 and 4th Street to be demolished.

According to the Greeley Tribune:  Recycled Materials Company, Inc. paid Eaton $50,000 to demolish the building so it can collect the scraps. Dykon Explosive Demolition Corp. was hired to bring the building down. The railroad plans to build a new facility in its place. Here is the YouTube video of the implosion for you:
