When it rains, it pours.  First, it was Beach House and Armadillo.  Then it was McCoy's. Now Loveland's popular Schmidt's Bakery has closed its doors indefinitely.

The Loveland Reporter-Herald reports that the landmark bakery closed on Tuesday.  A sign in the window simply reads "SEIZED" in large letters.  Apparently, the bakery currently owes over $40,000 in unpaid taxes.  And this isn't the first time Schmidt's has faced this problem.

The closure by the state is the third for the German-style bakery and deli in the past three years. The first two seizures, in March 2010 and March 2011, were resolved after a few days.

I've never been to Schmidt's; but if a place has had so many problems over the years, at some point is has to be better to just pull the plug.  I feel like there has to be some point when it's not worth the trouble anymore, you know?

Do you think this is "strike-three-you're-out" for Schmidt's?  Or do you think they'll find a way to re-open a third time?  Sound off in the comments below!
