The Coloradoan reported Wednesday afternoon that the Fort Collins Police have suspended their investigation into a stabbing last week.

36-year-old Ernest Borrego was sleeping in Lee Martinez Park last Friday when he was reportedly stabbed. The victim made it to a nearby home where the resident called officials. Borrego was treated and transported to MCR with non-life threatening stab wounds to the upper body.
