Southwest Airlines Surprises Moms for Mother’s Day with Special Treatment and More Suprises!

Folks were getting ready to fly from Dallas to Orlando the other day on Southwest Airlines, when Southwest made a special announcement there at the gate. For more than a few of the folks flying, just the Moms, they’d made special arrangements!

I like Southwest Airlines. They're from Colorado. I like that. They really seem like decent people to me. This particular thing they did for Moms just adds to my appreciation of them.

I’ll be honest, there is one thing that kind of bugs me: That boarding policy: Those groups- ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C.’ Then, having to make sure you check-in 24 hours prior… and trying to understand where it is you’re supposed to stand in that line… Oh, brother. But you get used to it, and it is a pretty good system.

That boarding policy is where this little treat comes in. Southwest decided to let all the Moms who were going to be on flight #662, Dallas to Orlando, to board FIRST! No need to worry about what zone you were in.. just get on board! How cool is that? Then, Southwest had another surprise for those Moms- which is really pretty awesome!
