According to the Coloradoan, a local nightclub that has only been open since January has closed it's doors for good due to lack of local support.

Nyx and Nox Nightclub, which was located on South College Avenue near Trilby, tried to gear their venue to the 30 to 50 year old clientele living in the Fort Collins and Loveland area.

The location has been under many different names over the years, but has always had the draw of being a nightclub with dancing. Other names that the business has been known by are The Rock Dance Club, Fargo Country Roadhouse, Crazy Jack's Saloon, and Herradura. The building has been open since 1964 as it's first incarnation as a dance club under the name Clancy's.

The building is 7500 square feet and also houses a very large dance floor inside. However, the former owners tell the Coloradoan that they don't see it succeeding in the future as a nightclub and that the future owners should look at other avenues.
