Many residents in Northern Colorado have been without power, some has been restored, some has not. According to their website, Poudre Valley REA is urging those affected by it's outages to seek shelter in a warm place tonight. From Poudre Valley REA:

Anyone who has not had power restored at this time is urged to seek a warm place to stay overnight. The Red Cross has established a shelter for those who remain without power tonight at the Thompson Valley High School.  Additional information is available at the Red Cross (800) 824-6615.

“We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused so many folks and appreciate the patience and understanding of our members during this weather emergency,” said Brad Gaskill, Poudre Valley REA CEO. ”We urge everyone to avoid downed power lines or any areas where trees are in contact with lines or other electrical equipment.  The safety of our consumers and our crews are the most important consideration as we work to restore power.”
