One of the largest employers in Northern Colorado has seen many employee changes the last few months, and now it has made it's way to the top.

According to the Coloradoan, after only 15 months on the job Otterbox CEO Peter Lindgren has been relieved of his duties.

His release is combined with the ousting of other top officials in the company.

Another shakeup occurs with founder Curt Richardson becoming more active in the day to day operations. His official title is "chief visionary officer".

Rising to new positions are Jim Parke who has been named CEO and Steve Nisbet has been named President.

The latest changes come on the heels of the company making an unspecified amount of layoffs at the beginning of 2016.

While sales numbers haven't been released for 2015, the company did report $1 billion in revenue in 2014.
