Semi Hauling Ice Cream Burns on I-25

Poudre Fire Authority Facebook

SouthboundI-25 was closed for more than three hours after a semi-trailer hauling ice cream rear-ended another tractor-trailer, crashed, and then burst into flames late yesterday morning. The crash occurred just south of the Mountain Vista exit northwest of Fort Collins. Neither driver was seriously injured. Witnesses said the semi-trailer was hauling a load that included ice cream, which melted in the heat of the fire.
