During the month that is all about love, an art gallery in Loveland is raising funds to fight Cystic Fibrosis with roses. The kind that don't need a drop of water. During the third annual 65 Roese for Cystic Fibroses local artists, plus some from across the country are painting roses and rose-inspired images. The February fund-raising event runs through February 29th at Independence Gallery in Loveland.

"It makes a great valentine gift. It makes it affordable," said Billie Colson, owner of Independence Gallery, 440 N. Lincoln Ave.

More than 40 artists donated their work for the third annual 65 Roses for Cystic Fibrosis fundraising event at Independence Gallery. The event kicks off today and will continue through Feb. 29.

Cost: Rose inspired art starts at $15

One hundred percent of what is paid for the art will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's research for a cure of the hereditary and progressively debilitating disease.
