A rollover crash on northbound I-25 near Prospect Saturday injured five people, including three children.

Colorado State Patrol Trooper Paul Dirkes told the Coloradoan that the vehicle was traveling north when it went into the center median, "traveled across the road to the right and then rolled." Two adults and three children were taken by ambulance to Poudre Valley Hospital and Medical Center of the Rockies with injuries ranging from serious to life-threatening.

The Coloradoan reported that the cause of the crash is under investigation.

Trooper Dirkes also told the Coloradoan that law enforcement recommends that those going to Cheyenne Frontier Days "use alternate routes just due to the volume of traffic on I-25 near Prospect."
