Rihanna was sitting where she was the only Lebron fan in the world.

Well, there were probably some Lebron admirers around. It's hard to find a spot where people don't understand that he is the King, even if they aren't active fans.

But the pop singer found herself in almost hostile territory.

Where was the non-Lebron spot? In Oracle Arena, sitting next to the owner of the Golden State Warriors in Oakland, at Game 1 of the NBA Championship Finals.

A story on BleacherReport.com and Twitter reveals how an awkward situation arose at the game.

It seems that Rihanna is a Cavs fan, and more specifically, she loves Lebron. So, she bought tickets to the game. When Golden State's owner heard she was coming, he upgraded her from whatever she bought to courtside, front and center, in the chair directly next to him.

He didn't realize that she would be rooting for Lebron and the Cavs. And not just rooting, but rooting rooting for him. Standing. Screaming. Actively, vocally, hollering her support.

She was raucous enough for him to want to change seats, which he did.

On one hand, she paid for the tickets.  She's a Cavs fan. Like other Cavs fans,  she went to the game to support the Cavs.

She wasn't a guest of Joe Lacob, though he did upgrade her. Did she ask for the upgrade? Not in any Tweets or reports that I've seen.

Also, why did he upgrade her? Because he wanted to meet and hang out with a a huge pop star? Because he wanted to make his franchise look cooler? I have to admit that I attach more value to teams that have bigger celebrities sitting court side. Maybe he wanted to make sure that the world saw that an 'It-girl' was watching his team.

Regardless of why he upgraded, the story goes that she was rooting for the Cavs with enough fervor to cause hit to want to change seats.

What do you think of this?
