Ryan McVay, ThinkStock[/caption]The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles can make a kid feel pretty tough right?  But can it also get him kicked out of a restaurant?  Yes.

As the Huffington Post reported, a kid felt pretty good wearing his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shirt. But not even turtle power could help him get around one restaurant's strict rules.

The four-year-old was eating lunch with his family at The Tavern at Phipps in Atlanta when the hostess approached and informed them they would have to leave.  Um, what?

What could be the reason though? Well allegedly the kids sleeveless Ninja Turtle shirt violated the "Gentlemen's Dress Code."

The family quite puzzled by this, tried to explain that the boy was only 4 years old and then asked to speak to the manager. But the manager was strict in upholding the hostess' decision, forcing the little "gentleman" and his family to leave the restaurant.

So, I want to know how if this was such a big deal, why it wasn't caught when they came in?

Later, a spokesperson for The Tavern at Phipps expressed the restaurant's regret and issued this statement: "It was an embarrassing misunderstanding on our part. She's a manager in training who had a gross misunderstanding of our policy. We apologize and are reaching out to the family"

If you are at a kid friendly restaurant and you get kicked out for something so ridiculous, what would you do?
