Remembering Denver’s Famous Gene Simmons Bug — Would You Buy It?

Usually posts get deleted from Craigslist, but some live on 'Forever' in the 'Best of' section. That's the case for this Bug with an alarming resemblance to KISS frontman, Gene Simmons, which was at one point for sale in Denver.  

Were you made for lovin' this car? Originally posted in June of 2012, the online ad reads:

70 VW Bug New engine, new tires and wheels, floor pans body restored and painted black w metal flake and pearl.
Car will be finished in 40 days (in time for concert) come see it now, buy it as is for less, or put down deposit to hold it for you and your coolest friends to take to "Comfort Dental Amphitheater" Aug 8th.

No where does the post mention that the classic Volkswagon, you know, has a giant tongue... According to Ultimate Classic Rock, the Bug was on the market for $10 grand, and we can't help but wonder who dropped that cash to rock 'n' roll all night and party every day in that thing -- and, if it's rollin' around somewhere in Colorado still.
