As the 10 year anniversary of 9/11 approches, the Windsor-Severance Fire Museum has another piece of history on display, a steel beam from the World Trade Center, according to NOCO 5. This Friday, it will be displayed at the Windsor High School football game too.

The steel beam from the World Trade Center is on display now at the Windsor Fire Museum, so people can really get a close up look and understand what happened that changed the world that day.

It only seems fitting to have the piece there. The Windsor Severance Fire Department has a special connection to 9-11, as one of their aerial fire trucks was used to help in the clean up following the disaster.

The piece of the World Trade Center will also be on display at the Windsor High School football game on Friday. They will bring it out before kickoff as the school honors firefighters and police that night.
